Robert Rogers is a seasoned real estate broker, team leader, and investor with more than 20 years of experience and 1,000+ successful transactions across Virginia and North Carolina. Licensed since 2004, Robert is known for combining deep market expertise with decisive leadership, strategic thinking, and a relentless commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
Originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, Robert is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. His analytical background continues to shape his approach today—bringing clarity, structure, and strategy to an industry that often lacks all three. Early in his career, Robert’s results and professionalism earned him industry recognition, including being named REALTOR® of the Year in 2008 by the I-85 North Board of REALTORS®, followed by a nomination at the state level by the Georgia Association of REALTORS®.
After relocating to Hampton Roads, Virginia, Robert quickly established himself as one of the region’s most trusted and productive real estate professionals, consistently ranking among the top 1% of REALTORS® in the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association. His success led to leadership roles throughout the industry, including serving as Sales Manager for the Kris Weaver Real Estate Team, where he played a pivotal role in the team’s transition to Sotheby’s International Realty and the formation of Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty. Under his leadership, the team was recognized as the #1 Mega Team in Hampton Roads for both 2015 and 2016.
In 2017, Robert returned to Keller Williams Realty International, serving as CEO and Managing Broker in Virginia Beach, where he focused on brokerage operations, agent development, and building scalable systems that support long-term success.
In 2018, Robert founded Distinctly Real Estate, now operating as a high-performance real estate team powered by PLACE. In 2024, he was selectively invited to partner with PLACE, a nationally respected real estate platform that works exclusively with top-performing teams and proven leaders nationwide. This partnership allows Robert and his team to pair deep local expertise with best-in-class systems, talent, and operational support—creating an elevated experience for clients, agents, and investors.
At the core of everything Robert does is a genuine love for helping people win. Whether that means guiding a client into a new home, helping an investor grow a portfolio, or mentoring an agent toward the career and life they want, Robert is deeply invested in other people’s success. And while he is passionate about helping others win, he is unapologetic about loving to win himself—believing that excellence sets the tone and leadership starts by example.
Robert is actively involved in the Hampton Roads business community as a corporate member of BizConnect Hampton Roads and an active member of the North Colley Business Association, supporting local businesses and community growth beyond real estate.
In his personal life, Robert married the love of his life, Josiah, in 2022. Josiah is a travel nurse, and together they share their home with their two dogs, Gigi and Thatcher. They are active real estate investors who believe in practicing what they teach and are passionate travelers who value new cultures, places, and perspectives. When not working, hosting friends and family, or planning their next adventure, you may occasionally find Robert playing pickleball at the Norfolk Yacht Club or relaxing at their retreat in Manteo on North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
